Next Nite

Joe searched all over the Internet, but he couldn't find anything about the object he found. So he put it back on the counter, to the side of the monitors. There was a professor he knew at the university, and maybe the professor might know something about the object. Since the professor was known to be very open minded, even at times, very odd!
Joe was just about ready for his 2 AM walk through, he took a careful look at the monitors, and then he went to the rest room. He then came back to his post, and checked the monitors very carefully again. Everything checked out on the monitors. It was now 2 AM time for his walk through. As he walked his route everything was fine. He even noticed how still everything was, and how great the sky looked, with the stars shining, and a nice quarter moon. Joe finished his route, and was now at his post. He sat down, and looked at the monitors, and everything was fine on the monitors. He went to roll the chair forward, and it came to an abrupt halt. He thought that's weird, the chair was almost new. So he rolled it back a little, and took a look. He looked down, and noticed the object he found was on the floor, and stopping the one wheel of the chair. So he went to pick it up, and put it back where it was. When he touched it, it didn't burn him, but he noticed it was very, very warm, and it seemed to be vibrating a little. So he put the object back by the side of the monitors. He thought, no one will believe this, and he thought, what would the professor even think of this? So he went back to checking the monitors, and now it was time for lunch. Mary was very pleased he liked the cupcake she recommended, and she had made another recommendation, so Joe was very excited to try the new recommendation. It was a cheese danish, with cherry swirl, it was huge for a dessert. Joe kidded to himself, I got a real deal with this one! Mary had even made a special brew of coffee for his thermos as well. Joe was especially pleased with both, he was still getting up what it would take, to maybe ask Mary out to the dance hall, a dance was coming up.
Sometime went by, and Joe was done with his lunch, and he had looked at the paper a little. It was now 4 AM time for another walk through, the walk throughs were every 2 hours, unless something didn't check out for one reason, or another. Joe finished his walk through, and everything was fine. He was back at his post, the monitors checked out, and the object he found was safe, and sound, by the side of the monitors. Where he had left it. The rest of the evening went by smooth as well.

Next Nite

Joe is checking in for his shift, when his boss asks him to step into his office. Joe is in the office, with his boss, and his boss asks, what is this? His boss has what the dogs were fighting over, from the night before. Joe had left it on the counter. Joe tells his boss, "I don't know, a couple of dogs were fighting over it, out in the yard, so I left it for you to see". The boss decides for Joe to keep it, and to look on the internet, to see what it might be.

Next Nite

Joe is sitting at his desk, and he is just getting ready for another walk through of the buildings, and grounds. He checks the monitors, and everything appears to be fine. The time is 2 AM, and Joe is ready for the walk through. He has walked through 2 of the buildings, and everything is checking out to be fine. Halfway between buildings 2, and 3 he hears a ruckus! He starts to run towards the noises he hears, then he sees what is going on. It is a couple of dogs wrestling around with something. He is unhappy about the dogs being there, and he chases them back out, and writes a note for the fence company to mend the fence again. On his way back to go on his route again, to finish his walk through he notices something lying on the ground where the dogs were. It doesn't look like food or anything. So he isn't sure why the dogs would have been acting the way they were by it. He figured maybe the dogs saw it as a toy of theirs, or something. Anyway he knew he couldn't just leave it there, so he picked it up, and finished his route, and he returned to his desk.
     Joe was happy everything else checked out since he was ready for his coffee, and sandwich. He was especially ready to try a new dessert he purchased at the diner by him, a waitress named Mary, that he had his eye on recommended it to him. He liked that a lot. So he finished everything, and the cupcake was great!, so he was excited to tell Mary thank you for recommending it, and how much he liked it. The rest of the evening went very smooth.

The first night

Joe is his name, in his 30's, he is a night watchman. As he always thought the stories he could tell, and would tell, since he is a perfect witness to the strange goings on, at night!
